And we thought she knew everything...

We often joke that my mom knows everything (including how to speak French, Linda). And while she is very wise and knows how to do a great number of things. Apparently making a cake isn't one of them. And here's the proof...

This is the finished product, we had not yet cut into it or even tried to tear it apart with our bare hands!

However, she did try to redeem herself by making this beautiful styrofoam wedding cake at work. I said it doesn't count if you can't actually eat it!

I LOVE YOU MOMMY!!!

I love you too!

Just remember...it was not me that said I knew everything. Let this be a lesson to you...NO ONE knows EVERYTHING. (Except the One)...I love sarcasm in the morning!)

What can I say? I'm glad you inherited Grama's cake making gene.

Oh, and for the record...that wedding cake is two years old. I build 'em to last. :-)

Cake does not always have to be pretty...

Look at all that YUMMY icing... I'd devour it in... well, used to be seconds... might take me hours now, but... still.

Be nice... hehehe
